Michael Jordan Nissan recently made two major announcements concerning the much-anticipated Nissan Commercial Vehicle (NCV) roll-out, Nissan?s first vehicle brought to the U.S. commercial vehicle market. The dealership will receive its first shipment of the Nissan Commercial Vehicle (NCV) in late February and expects full sales of the new line by the second quarter of this year. Also, MJ Nissan is pleased that Jeff Lintz, a veteran commercial vehicle salesperson, has joined the dealership and will head the NCV sales effort. Ray Vrscak, principal of Michael Jordan Nissan, said MJ Nissan is one of only 187 Nissan commercial vehicle franchises in North America. "Triangle area businesses can now obtain commercial vehicles with the same unsurpassed Nissan quality, dependability, and customer-centric innovation they?ve come to know in our consumer vehicles."Vrscak also acknowledged the dealership?s good fortune to bring Jeff Lintz to head up the NCV business. Lintz has worked in commercial vehicle sales and service management for more than 20 years with body companies and up-fitters that specialized with commercial customers."Having been a service manager, I understand that commercial customers need to get their vehicles back in operation?fast," Lintz said. ?Downtime with a commercial vehicle can cost a business $1,000 or more per day in productivity."The NV will feature sturdy body-on-frame construction and brawny engine choices, as it is built on a modified Nissan Titan full-size pickup chassis. Buyers will be able to choose between a 4.0-liter V-6, or a powerful 5.6-liter V-8, both of which will be paired to a five-speed automatic transmission. Available in either standard or high-roof body styles, the 2012 NV maximizes cargo capacity and opens up numerous possibilities for storage solutions. The high-roof model boasts enough internal height for most adults to stand up. The cargo area features a full-length inner panel to prevent shifting cargo from denting the vehicle's outer skin, as well as offering mounting points for shelving and rack solutions."The NV shows innovation everywhere you look and is built by a company known for making some of the most innovative vehicles on the planet," said Lintz. "Nissan made this vehicle work for the customer rather than the customer working around their vehicle."
